Our Romaine Retreat is located on 5 minutes walk from the center of the modern village and directly across from the Roman ruins and vistor's center. A further 5 minute walk will take you to the old roman bridge and the winding cobblestone street up through the medieval village to the castle ruins.
The apartment has two bedrooms and one bath and is located on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. There are 40 steps up to the apartment landing- there is no elevator. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. There is a queen size sofa bed in the living room which can be closed off with a door. The kitchen is fully equipped (we love to cook)! There is a washing machine in the apartment with a large drying rack (your clothes will dry quickly in the climate). There is free high-speed WI-FI. Pets are always welcome!
There is parking on the street in front of the apartment or just around the corner. There is also parking in the visitor center's parking lot except on Tuesday which is the market day.
